1. Scope and Contract Language
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all purchases made through the online shop “L. Ron Hubbard Bookstore” operated by College for Knowledge.
1.2 The contract language is German. This German version of the T&C and of all related legal documents (privacy policy, imprint, delivery terms) is solely binding. The English translation is provided for information purposes only; in the event of any discrepancy between the German and the English version, the German version prevails.

3.3 All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include, where applicable, the Swiss value-added tax in force.
Note for international customers: Additional taxes (e.g. VAT, sales tax, import duties) may apply in your country, for which the customer is responsible.
4. Order and Conclusion of Contract
4.1 The product presentations in our online shop do not constitute legally binding offers, but merely an invitation to place an order.
4.2 By clicking the “Order with obligation to pay” button, you place a binding order for the products in your shopping cart.
4.3 The contract is concluded as soon as we send you an order confirmation by e-mail or make the download link available to you, whichever occurs first.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment can be made using the payment methods offered during the ordering process.
5.2 Payment is due immediately after the order is placed.
5.3 Your order will be processed after receipt of payment.

7. Right of Withdrawal
7.1 For Swiss customers
Pursuant to Art. 40a para. 1 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO), there is NO right of withdrawal for digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium, provided that performance has begun with the customer’s express consent before expiry of the withdrawal period.
7.2 For customers from the EU
Pursuant to Art. 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal ceases to apply where the customer has, before expiry of the withdrawal period, expressly consented to performance beginning and acknowledged that they lose their right of withdrawal once performance begins.
7.3 Express consent
By downloading the eBook, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
During checkout you confirm this by ticking the consent checkbox.
8. Copyright and Usage Rights
8.1 All eBooks are protected by copyright.
8.2 By purchasing an eBook, you acquire the right to use it exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8.3 You may NOT:
- Resell, distribute or pass on the eBook
- Make the eBook publicly available
- Remove copyright notices or digital watermarks
- Print more than reasonable excerpts for personal use
8.4 A breach of these terms may result in legal action.
9. Warranty and Liability
9.1 We warrant that the eBook files are free of defects at the time of delivery (i.e. the files are readable and not corrupted).
9.2 If you receive a defective file, please contact us immediately. We will provide you with a replacement file free of charge.
9.3 We are not liable for compatibility problems with your devices or software.
9.4 Our liability for damages is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence, except in the case of injury to life, body or health.
9.5 Liability for indirect and consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10. Data Protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By placing your order, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Dispute Resolution
College for Knowledge does not participate in alternative dispute resolution procedures before a consumer arbitration body.
12. Customer Declaration Regarding Copyright Disputes
12.1 Nature of the works
All works offered in this shop are original, unaltered publications. We do not sell modified versions created after 2007.
12.2 Public-domain position
We legally assume that the original works of L. Ron Hubbard are in the public domain under applicable Swiss and international copyright law. This position is based on a documented legal analysis concerning the dissolution of the original copyright holder (HASI) in 1977 and further factors explained in more detail in our imprint.
12.3 Contested claims
Various organisations dispute this position and claim the copyright. We maintain our legal position and are prepared to defend it before Swiss courts if necessary.
12.4 Customer acknowledgement
By making a purchase, you confirm that you are aware of these disputes and agree that:
- You are purchasing for personal, educational or research purposes
- You assume responsibility for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction
- You will not use these materials in a way that poses a legal risk to yourself or others
12.5 No warranty against third-party claims
Although we are convinced that our position is legally sound, we cannot guarantee that third parties will not assert claims. We expressly exclude any warranty that possession or use of these materials is free of third-party claims in all jurisdictions.
12.6 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify College for Knowledge against all claims arising from your use of the purchased materials in jurisdictions where such use could be challenged.
13. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
13.1 These terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
13.2 For consumers habitually resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence additionally apply, insofar as these offer a higher level of protection.
13.3 The place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland, to the extent permitted by law.
13.4 Consumers from the EU may bring legal action in their country of residence.
14. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by valid provisions that come closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
15. Amendments to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions. The current version with the “Last updated” date shown on this page shall always be authoritative.
Amendments do not affect existing contracts unless required by law.

17. “Naturheilkunde-KI” (Natural Medicine AI) Membership
17.1 Subject of the service. The “Naturheilkunde-KI” membership (CHF 120 per year) grants access to the Natural Medicine AI (available at naturheilung.org) for 12 months from receipt of payment. The Natural Medicine AI is a dialogue and research system: it gives you convenient access to an AI and to a natural-medicine knowledge base and helps you to record and search your own information (complaints, medical history, documents) in an organised way.
17.2 No medical treatment, not a medical device. The Natural Medicine AI is not a physician and not a medical device: it does not make diagnoses, does not assess urgency, does not give therapy recommendations and assumes no responsibility for your medical care — in particular not in an emergency. In the case of acute or life-threatening symptoms, contact the emergency medical service immediately (Switzerland 144, Germany/Austria 112). The decision on what you do with the information from the system rests with you; physicians and your treating practitioners are responsible for diagnosis and treatment.
17.3 AI notice and availability. The service’s responses are generated by an AI system and, despite a careful source base, may contain errors; verify important information and discuss health decisions with a qualified professional. We strive for high availability of the service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; maintenance windows and disruptions at upstream providers (e.g. AI providers, data centres) may temporarily restrict access.
17.4 Term and automatic renewal. After expiry, the membership renews automatically for a further year at the previous price (the founding price remains locked), unless it is cancelled no later than 30 days before expiry. The upcoming renewal is announced by e-mail in good time before expiry. Payment is made on the expiry date: for credit/debit card and PayPal as an automatic charge (via Mollie), for TWINT and bank transfer by a renewal invoice with a QR payment slip.
17.5 Cancellation. Cancellation is possible at any time without stating reasons — informally by e-mail to support@college4knowledge.ch or via the customer account. In the case of timely cancellation, access ends at the expiry of the year already paid for. Annual fees already paid are not refunded on a pro-rata basis. The single year (CHF 140) does not renew automatically and ends after 12 months without further payment or cancellation.
17.6 Withdrawal. This is a digital access. Performance begins upon activation; withdrawal after activation is excluded (cf. Section 7).
Thank you for your trust.
We are committed to transparency, fairness and the preservation of knowledge that should be accessible to all.
