Who We Are

College for Knowledge is a Swiss association dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of enlightenment and original works that have been censored, altered, or suppressed by powerful organizations.

This is how we distribute suppressed reprints by the international bestselling author L. Ron Hubbard:

Original works by L. Ron Hubbard – unaltered texts as they were published during his lifetime, before the Church of Scientology rewrote or withdrew them: Over 50% of his books are no longer available!
Critical analyses and investigative research – independent books dealing with Scientology, its history, and its institutional takeover, particularly by author Andreas M.B. Groß.

Our Mission

We believe in three fundamental principles:

Preservation – Original works must remain accessible for historical comparison and research
Transparency – Censorship should be exposed, undermined, and certainly not tolerated
Resistance – Legal intimidation must not silence the truth

Why L. Ron Hubbard’s Original Works?

Since 1972, the new management of the Church of Scientology has radically rewritten Hubbard’s technology, policies, and ethical principles in order to destroy the field.

A comparison of the original versions with the altered versions reveals what they sought to conceal.

We provide access to the originals—not the sanitized revisions.

Why Critical Analysis?

Beyond preserving the original texts, we publish and disseminate critical research examining the following:

The hostile takeover of Scientology by state intruders
The instrumentalization of copyright and trademark law for censorship
The suppression of original Scientology technology
The systematic rewriting of L. Ron Hubbard’s works

These books—many of them written by our founder Andreas Groß—were systematically censored through fraudulent DMCA takedown notices and pressure from platforms such as Amazon and others, and were temporarily removed from the market. Hence this approach at Shop7.ch to make the books available again through self-publishing under the rule of law in Iceland (server location). Of course, you won’t find the shop or its books via Google: shadow banning.

Our Story: From Censorship to Independence

Before 2023: Building a Business

For years, I (Andreas Gross) earned a comfortable five-figure annual income selling books through Amazon KDP and IngramSpark. My catalog included original works by L. Ron Hubbard, critical analyses of Scientology, and other titles.

Phase 1: Shadowbanning

Despite good rankings and positive reviews, my books mysteriously stopped appearing in search results. Sales dried up overnight. No explanation. No notification. Just silence.

Phase 2: DMCA Takedowns

Scientology Church entities filed DMCA notices and asserted copyright claims on:

Original works by L. Ron Hubbard (which are in the public domain – see our legal notice)
My own books that analyze Scientology (works to which they have NO legitimate claim)

Submitting DMCA notices for works that do not belong to you is perjury under U.S. law. Lawsuits against this can cost 5 to 6-figure sums.

Phase 3: Complete Account Suspension

Amazon and IngramSpark didn’t just remove controversial titles—they deleted my entire accounts, including many books that had nothing to do with Scientology.

Years of work. My entire catalog. My income. Gone in an instant .

Since 2025: We’re fighting back

Instead of giving up, we built this platform—hosted beyond the reach of DMCA abuse, on Icelandic servers, operated under Swiss law, and committed to transparency.

They can ban us on global platforms, but they can’t stop word of mouth. The Soviet regime collapsed because people shared information with one another and saw through the party propaganda.

The Problem

The Church of Spiritual Technology (CST)

Founded by the Deputy Director of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service ;-) (Mead Emory)
Claims control over LRH’s copyrighted works
and the Church of Scientology’s rigid control via RTC
Completely revised works by L. Ron Hubbard, over 50% lost.
Passages removed that contradicted government interests
Claimed new copyrights to suppress originals
Used the DMCA to censor critical books
Destroyed the livelihoods of independent authors

The legal dispute

Their claims

The Church of Scientology (or its publishers) asserts copyrights through:

A controversial will (apparently forged)
Transfer from a dissolved organization (HASI, 1977 – no valid successor)
Changes to original works (new covers, text changes, forewords)

Our Position

We hereby declare:

The original copyright holder was dissolved without a successor = Hubbard’s work is now in the public domain
Modified versions are not original works, but falsifications
Prove your claims in court (they won’t dare)

The Precedent

We are not alone in this fight:

stss.nl (Netherlands): Active for over 15 years, offers free LRH downloads. The Church of Scientology has withdrawn its legal threats following extensive legal correspondence.

Pattern: The Church abuses the DMCA and pressures platforms. It avoids real courts, where its claims would be subject to judicial review.

Why courts scare them

Real courts mean:

Discovery: Their documents have been scrutinized
Judicial review: Their claims examined by judges
Public record: Their tactics exposed
Precedent: If they lose once, they lose everything

DMCA is perfect for them:

No judicial review required
Affordable and fast
Enforces compliance by platforms
The victim has no meaningful legal recourse
